Dynamics of main nutrients in the spruce and beech stands in CR – tree nutrition as a basic requirement of sustainable forest management

The aim of the project proposed is to consider current state of stand nutrition, nutrient inputs and outputs in the ecosystem, and their total balance, affected by forest management measures, on the base of complex evaluation of the spruce and beech stands in different natural conditions.

Monitoring of chlorine in the forest ecosystem – its cycling and effects

The aim of the project is to gain data for the elucidation of processes taking place during the decay of organic matter in forest ecosystems (microbially as well as abiotically) with the participation of chlorine. To attain this, we will monitor chlorine in forest ecosystems and will conduct laboratory experiments providing data required and indicated in part in the literature.

Influence of crushing of mining rests on soil and growth of spruce, beach and fir young plants in condition forest district Ledeč

On cca 40% clear cuts on forest district Ledeč is mining rest crushed before afforestation. But on part of these plots are occurred problems with yellowing and also with dying of young plants.
