Abstract
The mixture of beech and larch is known by its quality and high production of wood. For its potential to fulfil also other forest functions it is necessary to know the optimum proportion of particular species to obtain maximum benefits from growing the mixture. In this paper, plots are compared with the proportion of larch 40 (60) and beech 60 (40) aimed at the volume of production and quality of wood.
