EXCURSION

Full day excursion will include
- Visit to the Bohemian-Moravian highlands affected by the bark beetle outbreak in 2018-2022, demonstration of an example of good practice of forest restoration on large-scale clearings
- Visit to the Želivka research facility – Intensive monitoring plot I140 of ICP Forests and experimental watershed recently affected by bark beetle outbreak
- Visit to the historic town of Kutná Hora – guided tour and dinner. The centre of Kutná Hora was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 because of its outstanding architecture.
