Description of project
Aim of the project is to update Forest ecological classification system (FECS) in changing climate conditions. Analysis of the FECS state,dynamics and trends of the climate parameters and selected indices will be carried out as well as a comparison of selected climate periods, evaluation of stand measurements based on altitudinal vegetation zones (AVZ) in terms of microclimate in relation to macroclimate, phenophase dynamics of woody plants, climate-growth relationships across AVZ and a prediction of possible shifts in the altitudinal distribution of forest tree species and other important plant indicators depending on future climate scenarios will be performed. Results will be guides, maps and proposals for related laws, case studies at co-operating companies, publications and a workshop.
