By car: Coming the by the highway D1 from west (Prague) taking exit 112 or from east (Brno) taking exit 119. Going from south (Wien) it is possible to take road 59 which will bring you directly to Jihlava
By public transport: There are direct buses going nearly every half hour from Prague (ca 1:45 h) and Brno (ca 1:30 h) and few bus connections from Vienna (ca 2:40 h).
