Ozone, nitrogen oxides, ammonium and sulphur oxides are the main harmful pollutants studied in the Czech Republic. Main attention is dedicated to ozone, concentrations and cumulated values (index AOT40) of which exceed in vegetation period the imission limits for vegetation in most of the region of CR.
Measuring of ozone is done in nine plots of intensive monitoring; passive dosimeters Gradko are exposed in two-week intervals.
Measuring of nitrogen dioxide and ammonium is done in three plots; passive dosimeters Gradko are exposed in four-week intervals.
Concentration of sulphur dioxide are in the last decade, in most of the area of CR, under the imission limit. Measuring was gradually finished, after the concentrations measured were under the detection limit of the manual stations (less than 5 µg.m-3)
