Description of project
Main aim of the project is to define the key parameters for balance of nutrients, carbon and organic matter in the forest soil of higher altitudes (5th – 6th forest vegetation zone according to the national site categories) for the forests with important productive function. Results will support forest management procedures sustaining the long-term soil productivity and enhancing carbon sequestration and water retention capabilities of forest soils.
