Abstrakt
The survey of historical data about Lymantria monacha L. outbreaks in the Brdy Mountains was processed for purpose of dendrochrono-logical research. Eight greater outbreaks occurred in the past which led to total defoliation in some stands. The first record of Lymantria monacha outbreak in this area observed in the second half of 1800s, the last outbreak in this area was in the years 1993 – 1995.
