Abstrakt
The condition of mineral nutrition of spruce stands was evaluated on limed plots of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids 23 years after the last application of limestone and at the various intensity of tending measures. The age of the stands is 30 years. The contents of N, P, Mg, K, Ca, Mn, Cu and Zn were monitored in the first and second needle year-classes. Simultaneously, K/Ca, K/Mg, N/Mg, N/Ca and P/Zn ratios were calculated. Positive effects of liming on the content of magnesium and phosphorus were found. On the contrary, effects of liming on the content of nitrogen, potassium, calcium, microelements and K/Ca, K/Mg, N/Mg and P/Zn ratios were not proved. Unfavourable effects of liming became evident in the N/Ca ratio on limed plots. On the control plot, this ratio was balanced.
