Abstrakt
One of the basic objectives governing the management of forests with special protection status in the Czech Republic is to apply near-natural methods of care. In the management of these forests, it is necessary to comply with a special management regime. In logging operations, the focus is primarily on the use of nature-friendly technologies. This paper presents the results of the costs analysis of logging technology costs in National Nature Reserve Ransko, and the comparison of the values found out with theoretical calculated values listed in a publication titled Economic Evaluation of Logging Technologies in Protected Areas at the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. This paper aims to verify whether the theoretically specified values, even if they were calculated in real production conditions, correspond to the values found out in practice.
